The Concept design of this Summer Seasonal Flower Display in Sydney explores and features plants as invaluable resources. The seasons aim was to showcase the diverse uses and values of plants while embracing bold and vibrant colours that reflect the lively spirit of summer. As this is a peak tourist season, one aim was to encourage the photography of the sites and the flowers within them.

Installed throughout the City of Sydney area in a humid January, and consisting of planters, greenwalls, towers and pyramids, each sites design is uniquely tailored to its specific microclimatic conditions, offering a varied Planting Plan that harmonizes with its environment. Through an artful combination of lush foliage and flowering plants, including a selection of edible plants and native plants species, the display weaves a vivid tapestry of colours and textures, captivating the senses and inspiring appreciation for nature's treasures. The seasonal flower display invites visitors to immerse themselves in natural beauty, encouraging them to spend quality time in the urban environment. By highlighting both the aesthetic and practical benefits of plants, the display fosters a deeper connection between people and the environment, transforming the urban landscape into a vibrant sanctuary of relaxation and joy while also providing habitat for valuable insects.
